TYPES OF VIRUS:
H1N1, H1N2, H3N2, and H3N1. Most H1N1.

SYMPTOMS TO Pigs
* Increased body temperature, depression, coughing, fluid exit from the nose or eyes, sneezing, difficult breathing, red eyes, do not want to eat.

SYMPTOMS ON HUMAN
* Fever, lethargic, lack of spirit, cough, meler nose, sore throat, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.

Transmission
Human H1N1 virus from infected pigs through direct contact or via objects that terkontaminasi. Swine flu spread from human to human, and mingle with the human flu virus through the air (sneezing, coughing).



 

Pig Farming PREVENTION
* Close the mouth and nose with tissue when coughing / sneezing. Tisue to dispose of the trash.
* Wash hands with soap and water, especially after coughing or sneezing. Tissue can also use alcohol.
* Avoid contact with people with flu.
* If sick, should remain in the house.
* Do not touch eyes, nose, or mouth. Virus spread through the body is.
* Do not eat the meat of pigs that have been infected with H1N1 flu. Masaklah pork at a temperature of at least 70 degrees Celsius so that all the viruses and bacteria die.

VACCINATION
Same with the bird flu (H5N1). Use antiviral oseltamivir (Tamiflu), zanamivir, mantadine, and rimantadine. The vaccine is only effective if given in the early stage of infection when the lung cells have not been too severe.
